Wellington Walking Festival - Bookings are now open for this wonderful festival starting on Monday 14th September and running until Sunday 20th September. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. You can see all the walk information here 

 

AGM - Our Annual General Meeting was held on Wednesday 29th July 2026 and we were delighted to retain all Committee Members in the same roles as last year. We look forward to planning next year's festival and if anyone would like to donate to contribute to the £2,000 running costs, our bank details are below. We are committed to keeping the festival free, but we still need to cover our costs for insurance, website hosting, walk leader resources, leaflets and medals. We have around 50 people who make the festival happen and everyone gives their time for free, so the costs are kept as low as possible. ​​

2026 Festival - That's a wrap for our 21st anniversary Festival, we had a great time with over 400 of you, and our fabulous Walk Leaders, Co-Leaders and Back-markers, walking over 8,500 miles which is a third of the way around the Earth! It is always a delight and privilege to share our passion for walking and love for the stunning Ironbridge Gorge. Later in the year, the Gorge celebrates 40 years of UNESCO World Heritage Status and we will celebrating this milestone during our 2027 festival.
